Sewing Machine Operator

Stanton is one of the top American Made manufacturers of special order sofas on the west coast. We believe locally produced, well-made, stylish and comfortable furniture enriches the lives of families that own our products. People in the Pacific Northwest like to know that their sofas are made close to home, instead of on the other side of the Pacific Ocean.

Machines can’t produce sofas, it takes real people with real skills to make them. Without the precision, reliability and hard work of our sewing department, we couldn’t create all of the beautiful sofas that are such a key part of so many families’ homes.

NO SEWING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, we will train you. What you must have is the desire to learn, take pride in the quality of your work and have good hand eye coordination.

Are you a smart and focused person who can bring a sense of urgency to help us create sofas for families across the Northwest? You will know if you qualify as a candidate for this position if you enjoy the feeling of accomplishing the work in front of you and are able to visualize how things go together.

Are you awesome at learning and remembering new processes? Do you want to learn new skills? Do you take pride in your quality and speed?

The bottom line is we are looking for the right people to train that will work with integrity and urgency. The people we hire will learn new skills, reliably complete their work with high quality and speed and work as part of our sewing team.
