HR Generalist - Bilingual (Spanish/English)

Now we need someone who:

  • Partners with our Plant Manager to help him accomplish our business goals through delivering on people initiatives.
  • Builds a bond of trust with our production leads to support the ongoing cultivation of our factory leadership team, helping them become more effective leaders.
  • Is approachable by line employees and be trusted to listen with empathy, respond quickly and fairly to requests, concerns and issues while maintaining calm and demonstrating a sense of urgency where appropriate.
  • Has a problem solving attitude to get to the root of an issue and provide recommendations for resolution.

If you have 3+ years of HR experience, are great at collaborating and communicating both easy and hard conversations in English and Spanish, have a strong understanding of the employee cycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, exit strategies and experience with an HRIS, you may be the rare individual we are looking for to join our team. A Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business or related field and PHR certification is preferred. Familiarity with a manufacturing environment is a plus.

This position has the following duties:

  • Work with Plant Manager and Factory Leads to effectively manage and develop all factory employees
  • Guide managers on Employee Relations issues using Human Resources best practices.
  • Manage full cycle recruitment for all factory employees.
  • Administer employee training and development programs.
  • Participate in the development and communication of HR programs and policies/procedures.
  • Manage implementation of company policies such as Attendance, Sick Time, Safety and Leave.Ensure adherence to employment law, policy and procedure.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to sit for long periods of time, hear and converse over the telephone and in person, and key frequently on a computer. Requires ability to accurately receive and disseminate information to maintain and enhance relationships. Ability to stand and walk the production floor. Ability to meet above description of position with or without reasonable accommodation.
